The New York Times on a Swedish Lakeside Home

The New York Times steps inside a modern house on a Swedish lake, where the architecture is shaped around water, light and the quiet of the surrounding forest. A sauna warmed by a HUUM HIVE heater sits at its centre, as it would in any Nordic home.

Heritage is the official New Zealand distributor of HUUM, the Estonian heater maker at the heart of this home. It is a reminder that in the north the sauna is not an addition to the house. It is part of the architecture.
