HUUM heaters are made in Tartu, Estonia, in small numbers and largely by hand. The steel arcs on the Drop and the Hive are cut and bent one at a time. The Cliff is formed from the offcuts of another heater in the range, so nothing is wasted. It is the same thinking we bring to timber, applied to fire.We have specified HUUM in Heritage saunas from the start.
We are now the official New Zealand distributor for the range, which means the heaters are held here, supported here, and available to anyone building a sauna in this country, not only to our clients.
UKU, HUUM's controller, took five years to develop. The wi-fi models let you start the sauna from your phone and bring it up to temperature while you finish dinner. A hardwired local panel is available where wi-fi is not wanted.
The full range is here. Drop, Cliff, Steel, Core and Hive electric heaters from 3.5kW to 18kW, and the wood-fired Hive Wood and Hive Flow for off-grid sites, or for anyone who wants the fire itself. Installed by a registered electrician, warranted and serviced in New Zealand.
